Good shows 1st season

I always get into good shows late it seems. I recently just caught up with SOA and also The Walking Dead via Netflix and they have both been great. Gonna start watching Breaking Bad this week to catch up with the current season.Im currently caught up with Game of Thrones however.
So I ask the board, whats a good 1st season show that is currently playing or has recently ended that I can get into now so Im not catching up 2-3 seasons later. I keep hearing about a show called "Banshee" on Cinemax and "The Americans" on FX were recommended as well. Anyone got any others. Thanks in advance

Banshee is pretty badass
hear good things about the americans gonna watch after the season is finished.
I dont think I watch any other first season shows. better to let them run and see if they get canned or not then just watch the entire season at one time. Its alot better to do what you did with sons and Walking dead IMO

Season 1(b) of Revolution starts up again soon.
If you don't mind a hoaky premise and spotty acting then you might enjoy the show.

Yeah...I liked Heroes and thought pretty much all of America did until they canceled it lol
