Potential competition for Joe Morgan as a deep threat. Lots of talent, but he has been a bust so far, which isn't surprising because the Raiders drafted him. I think a one year deal near the minimum would be fair. An opportunity to work with this coaching staff and team could do wonders for him. Low-risk, high-reward type player. Thoughts?

Joe Morgan competition is of a hi priority

If he's as cheap as joe Morgan, sure. Just the fact that he is fast and a former first rounder someone will likely take a shot on him. Maybe Detroit. We know they love first round wr

He's fast as the frick but can't catch with his hands, all body.
ETA: So basically Devery but faster..

DHB overruns defender
This video always cracked me up. Shows you how fast he really is. They fumble inside the goal line, he chases the defender down so fast he overruns him by 10 yards and doesn't make the tackle haha.

We all forget that Devery couldn't catch but he worked at it and became a very good receiver...I feel like Hayward-bay is a Devery clone and with the right coaching and ayers around him he could have a very similar career that Devery has

I'm cool with it for a cheap price, Morgan is a great developing deep threat but another couldn't hurt.

1. Provide Joesph Morgan competition
2. Improve defense
2. Improve defense

Not by any means saying that this is a greater priority than the defense or LT position. Just a new topic for discussion since the first wave of action is starting to wind down.

Absolutely. We were at our best when we could occasionally bring two different guys who could stretch the field.

With the right coaching Heyward Bey could have the same type career as Devery

people saying Morgan can't catch don't know what they are talking about

25 catches a year type career?
DHB has never had a QB worth a shite. Drew Brees could put him in the pro bowl. He's better than Devery

Wow. He was actually putting together a quality year before he got injured. Concussion I think. He will prob a baller somewhere. Not here
