Is it any good? I wanted to watch it when it premiered last year but missed it. Anyone watch it, and if so, thoughts?

ETA: tried the search function, didn't see anything

I have seen every episode. There is some good and bad parts to it. First off, you have to understand it's all based on fairy tale stuff. Second there have been some episodes that I have thought were terrible (just so cheesy and bad acting), but a lot of the stories are really interesting and good takes on fairy tale stuff. I watch it with my wife, so I would recommend that if you are married.

I've enjoyed it. Is it a great show? No. Is it entertaini g? Yes.

I'm a sucker for any type of reimagining of fairy tales, so I got hooked pretty easy. Rumplestilskin's story line is almost the only reason I watch TE show. They did a phenomenal job with him.

Definitely worth watching if you like that sort of stuff. Writing is decent, most acting is good, some is abysmal.

This except that it's starting to get its shite together a bit since a few episodes ago. Don't wanna spoil but those that watch can probably guess when I'm talking about.

Indeed. Last few episodes have been money (except for child Snow White. God I hate her).

Adult Snow White isn't much better.

True. They really knocked it out of the park with Robert Carlyle. TE differences in the two characters he plays is pretty incredible.

Dude, that shite was unbearable. It's enraging that they haven't recast her yet.

That scene of her over emoting/acting when her mother died almost resulted in an alarm clock lodged in my tv screen.

The central story is about Snow White and the Evil Queen, but the series has managed to introduce just about every mainstream fairy tale character imaginable. Since Disney owns ABC, the series uses the character names from many Disney classic animated fairy tales. Some of the story lines are better than others, but overall it's a very entertaining show. It's not really for children either.

Well put. Another storyline I wish came up more was red riding hood's. definitely one of the more brilliant reimaginings I've seen.

I agree. Ruby is one of the more under-used characters, even though her back story is one of the best on the show. They definitely found a cool spin to put on the Red Riding Hood/Big Bad Wolf story.

This has been the Netflix binge show for my wife and I the past few weeks. She loves it and I find it tolerable.

I haven't gotten to the young Snow White stuff yet, but The kid who plays Henry grates on my nerves. Slightly less annoying than Taylor Lautner's whiney voice in Twighlight.

I do like most of parallel story lines between farytale world and real life.

Once Upon a Time in the West or Once Upon a Time in America? Both are excellent IMO and definitely worth a look.
