theyre going to find fish or some type of creatures that live underground on mars and everyone is going to go ape shite.

I love all the space exploration, find it fascinating and think that if we send a manned mission to mars that would absolutely incredible.

cant we just focus our time, energy and resources on this little planet?

Yeah, god forbid we spend money to actually learn something. Instead lets continue to spend trillions on something we know a lot about and are good at: bombing brown people. People like you piss me off. What happened to mankind's curiosity that this became a common line of thought. In short, frick you.

Interesting the timing since this has also been released

LINK

In reference to the study on the Polonnaruwa meteorite:

"We conclude therefore that the identification of fossilized diatoms in the Polonnaruwa meteorite is
firmly established and unimpeachable. Since this meteorite is considered to be an extinct cometary fragment, the idea of microbial life carried
within comets and the theory of cometary panspermia is thus vindicated."

re: NASA Rover Finds Conditions Once Suited for Ancient Life on Mars

Just a few years ago I asked the question for some work I was doing: Do you think there is life outside of earth, or is it just a bunch of rocks?

I was surprised by the number of people who went with a bunch of rocks.

I've always liked this theory and it is more and more looking like it might just be true in some form.

Panspermia

I have no idea how people can believe this. I always tell them the same thing, traveling at the speed of light it would take ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND YEARS to cross our own GALAXY. That's just our own galaxy. How you can believe there is nothing else out there is just beyond me.

Definitely. Think one of the biggest problems is that a lot of people get stuck on their unwillingness or inability to comprehend the vastness of the universe. Our planet is only a part of one solar system in a galaxy with hundreds of billions of stars. That galaxy itself is just a tiny part of the hundreds of billions of galaxies that we estimate exist (some even estimate more than a trillion). The sheer size and possibilities are so mind boggling that some people just completely shut down rather than try to come to terms with just how tiny our existence is in the scope of the universe.

Typo or comment on the demographics of athletics? Was you comment meant for the recruiting board?.
