Yeah, David Villa is a fav of mine. He seems to be getting back in his form of old. I MUCH prefer him to Cesc or Alexis. To be honest, I would be out with less Busquets as well. I really really like the energy that Thiago provides. He and Thello are the future.

I know he is a solid player but he just seems out of the loop as of late.

If you don't want Busquets starting then you're not watching the right game.

Hopefully he keeps getting left out of key matches and decides he'd be better off back in North London... I don't think it'll be this summer. I do think he'll be back eventually. Also, if I had to make one off the wall prediction for the summer, it'd be that Nasri comes back to Arsenal.

I don't think that's likely either, but Nasri is probably on his way out. Wenger still loves his talent...

I find it a little funny that if they had both stayed they would be nearly guaranteed every big start and with all of them still around we'd be about as good a team as there is around... but instead they're in that situation but on a bench

True, but he is great at what he does. Mikel or Busquets? Who would you want?

Actually I think putting Luiz at CDM is the one good thing Benitez has done. Of course, he goes full tard and puts him back at CB in the big matches though and totally erases any good will gained from the move.

Busquets is probably the best in the world at his role.

Not many defensive mids have the touch, vision, and passing ability that Busquets has. He's a douche but if you wouldn't want him on your team, you're nuts.

Messi and Iniesta were incredibly good tonight. Agree with the comments about Villa. I didn't think he looked that sharp tonight but simply that he's not clogging up the space Messi and Iniesta operate in makes Barca so much more dynamic. There's still a difference to me with this Barca team compared to the recent past. You kind of expect them to concede a goal almost every time a team manages to break their pressure where that never seemed the case. Anytime Pique Mascherano or Puyols were actually defending, it looked so disorganized and almost always a desperate diving tackle to save an open chance. That weakness at the back does make their matches a lot more entertaining. Milan just never got the same passing movement down they had in the first leg with Boateng or Niang in the center instead of Pazzini.
