Once again, Stony Brook is crushing LSU's post season dreams.

Welcome in 6 automatic qualifiers in Middle Tennessee, Stony Brook, Mercer, Niagara, Robert Morris, and Charleston Southern. These auto-bids forced out Illinois State, Dayton, LSU, Texas A&M, North Dakota State and USC.

This is how they repay us for our great hospitality that was done because we love how SB played and not a self pat on the back for the "best baseball fans in the country"....those bastards.

Last year, LSU was on the bottom end of the NIT bracket with an 18-14 record and an RPI of 84. Currently, LSU is 18-11 with an RPI of 90. The odds of LSU hosting I think are slim. They are surely not a lock to even get in at this point...a win vs. Georgia would be helpful and regular season champs from the little conferences winning their tournaments would help too...

Why does everyone say LSU is better this year as opposed to last? Looks like they are just about the same. Although they are more exciting to watch, in the end, there really isn't that much of a difference.

LSU lost a 7 foot center, a 6'5" shooting guard (turner), and ludwig (frontcourt depth). In place they have a midget backcourt, coleman in the front court at 6'5" getting dominated by bigs and ADP who is barely serviceable. JJ got so much more out of this team that Tf'ingJ got out of last years. Nobody in this thread said they were better. dont generalize. When you do, you come off as an dumbass. I guess the shoe fits though........

The team was expected to be terrible this year, much worse than last year's.

This team is clearly better at the fundamentals of basketball (getting open, creating shots, etc.)

Which is probably why they look better.

Facts are facts. Everybody loses players. Stop making excuses.
