Time to vote on what to do with the 3 Amigos (Vilma, Smith & Harper).

The FO, obviously, needs help in determining what to do with the "cap strappers". So, I thought we should take a vote in order to help them make the right decision (I believe Loomis is a frequent visitor on this site and many posters here seem to have close connections with him...at least you would think so by the way they talk).

Cut all 3. Would be okay with Harper restructuring and Smith taking a huge pay cut to stay though.

I think Vilma and Smith get cut, but I'm not sure about Harper.
I said it in another thread, but I just don't see us restructuring Harper. Look at the players we have restructured. These are players that the team plan to keep around for a while, and have no problem pushing their money back to future years (for example this year: Lofton, Bunkley, Hawthorne, and Colston). Why would the Saints push back some of Harper's salary to future years if they are considering cutting him? I don't see him taking a pay cut either, why would he agree to that?

Time to get rid of all these guys. I think Smith would be a solid backup at the 34 de , but not at his price. Harper cant and will not be a 3down safety. Cant cover, cant catch, cant tackle in open space. To say the int he had against Tampa was a good one is just dead wrong. He caught it but all he had to do was come up or dive and there is no question about it. What he did was bend down and wait on the football.
