Aaanndd… they’re back! Made at around $35 million and grossing north of $209 million worldwide, it’s no joke calling Seth Gordon‘s 2011 workplace comedy Horrible Bosses a hit. Starring Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudikis as down-trodden buds who plot to kill their maniacal bosses, studio New Line justifiably wanted a sequel despite the premise feeling somewhat sequel proof. Well, when there’s a will, there’s a way as the principal cast will return for Horrible Bosses 2. And now, after more than a half a year of negotiations things look bright for more “boss-bashing.”

THR broke the news today that Bateman, Day and Sudeikis are now all set to reprise their roles in the sequel, with Jamie Foxx in talks to reprise his role as the man who mentored them in the art of boss disposal.

I really enjoyed the first film but I'm skeptical about a sequel being any good. I hope it's simply not a repeat of the first one like hangover 2 was.

sometimes they need to just stop. Horrible Bosses was really a pretty funny flick but just stop and leave it be instead of beating into the ground. I have no expectations except that this will suck.

Dude, just stop. Out of all the films made in the last 3 years, I'd say this is a film that should not have a sequel. No sane person would try that again, and there's no way they could get away with it with the events of the last film.

Maybe that could work, but that also happened near the end of the film.

maybe Colin Farrell's character really didn't die, but was left in a coma and Aniston & Spacey's characters team up to kill their workers?

I really don't know how this would even work
