How many games can you play at a time?

I find that I can only really focus on 1 at a time. I get locked in and if I try to balance more than one it's just not enjoyable. I tried playing crysis and tomb raider but I feel like they both want more of my time which sucks because I do want to play both right now.

Gamefly (coupled with a PC in serious need of upgrading) had me playing a single game until finish consistently.
Since then, I tend to start games, get stuck playing multiplayer games etc where I have a ton of half finished games and have a hard time enjoying myself.

I have a horrible attention span when it comes to games so I can never just play one. For instance, I am currently playing:
Ni No Kuni;
Valkyria Chronicles;
Infamous;
Skyrim; and
God of War
I'll play one for a few days and then switch over. It kind of sucks, because I never get into a groove but if I try to play one game exclusively I get burned out.

I can dabble in multiple games.
Im still on a dark souls kick, but with the last mass effect dlc being released, I am tempted to do a full playthrough of the entire series.
In fact, I already started. I'm on the citadel digging up dirt on saren.

I will play 2 or maybe 3 at a time, but they have to be totally different games or I will start getting the plots confused.

I usually have a game that I play online for leisure, like League of Legends, and I have another game I play for the storyline. Right now that game is Borderlands 2. I put most of my focus into the game I am playing for storyline until I beat it.

You have just inspired me to focus on games i have not finished.
Just scrolled down to the bottom of the list on my PS3 and the Infamous (Devils night or whatever it is called) was the first I havent finished. Currently working on it. PSN+ is going to make this hard to make it through the whole list. Free games have filled up my HDD

I've usually got 2-3 games I'm "playing" at a time. And though thinking about it now made me just realize this, I typically stick to one console, one handheld, and one PC game. Like, right now I'm playing StarCraft, Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones, and Jak II.
Once I beat StarCraft I'll move on to StarCraft II, then I'm gonna get back into Diablo for a little bit
Sacred Stones is gonna lead me into Fire Emblem: Awakening, then I'm gonna run through Kingdom Hearts 3D after I finish with those.
Once I finish the Jak & Daxter Collection on PS2 I'm gonna play through Darksiders again before starting Darksiders II.
That way I've got games to play while I'm at home, while I'm on campus, or none of the above
