re: Jared Mitchell's spring with the pale hose

We were talking about the 93 semi final (long beach at omaha) game in a thread the other day, and a poster reminded me that the LB pitcher walked a batter to get to Todd Walker thinking (erroneously) he'd match up well against him. That brought to mind ( IIRC,) Texas did a similar tactic when they inserted a lefty to pitch to Mitchell in game Who promptly hit a triple to tie it up. I clearly remember thinking Augie should not have used the rant to scout.
