I thought both weren't that great, but worth watching. I'd say I probably like Seven Psychopaths better. But it was very random. I don't really see what half of the psycopaths had to do with anything

Looper is the far "better" film, and I will fight the Looper haters on this board to the death, as they are just a bunch of pedantic jerks who refused to suspend disbelief and missed the more important philosophical and emotional stakes of the movie. No, the time travel doesn't work, just like every other time travel movie ever made (except Primer). Just go with it. Time travel is scientifically impossible.
But 7 Psychopaths is funny as hell and really, really quotable. Made by the same guy who did In Bruges, which I also love. It falls apart a bit in the final act, but Walken is more Walken than he's been in about a decade. Plus, Sam Rockwell as a psychopath! I think it's more fun.
So, it depends on your mood. If you want something light, go with the Psychopaths. If you want a rumination on the nature of personhood and fate, then Looper.
