In the sense that getting fired from Iron Man 2 hurt his career, he's definitely right.

More likely his diva behavior hurt his career

He's not great enough to be a diva and get away with it

I forgot why he's not in Iron Man anymore.

Someone give me the cliffs on this behind the scenes drama.

Marvel said he wanted too much money, and apparently Marvel has a reputation for being cheap or at least low balling people. That's the official story. Unofficially they just didn't want to put up with his bullshite anymore.

I think he was one of the 1st to sign on for Iron Man and he got a decent amount, then it was eclipsed when the "stars" signed on.

He wanted more, Marvel said no...

Nah. It was either They Call Me Trinity or his role as General Zod that did him in.

Don't know why he thinks this. I wish he would have been more cooperative because I prefer him over Cheadle for Rhodey

Blaming Iron Man for killing his career is the second funniest thing he's said this week. The first is :

quote:

Terrence -- who plays Oprah's neighbor in the movie -- said, "Oprah and I had such chemistry. To be able to make out with Oprah and to have love scenes with her and those tig ol' bitties ... She's such a lovely, voluptuous woman ... That was wonderful."

I don't think Marvel is cheap. They are smart. They signed RDJ to a 5 movie deal at a set rate no matter what the outcome of Iron Man. They knew what they had.

My guess is Howard signed on for 3 and when 1 did so well he wanted more and they wouldn't give it to him.
