must still be early, cause the only boats I've seen at the launch (Whiskey Bay) are crawfisherman. I haven't seen many rigs at the Butte Larose launch and little boat traffic in Lake Begeaux(sp)

Water is falling pretty hard. I know they were catching them in the Shell cuts before the cold snap, should be any day now. Its usually around SEC tournament time when I start sticking them pretty good in that area.

I struck out Monday around Middle Fork. Too windy and water is still high. It's on the verge though, gonna heat up soon.

Which spillway are you talking about?
Henderson (basin) has action right now

thats what I was referencing. I drive over the landing under I10 everyday and haven't seen much traffic there. Figured the water was too high and dirty for fishing now. When it turns on, the place is packed by 07:30.

White perch are biting. Be careful with the yoyos though. Gators are out and tearing them up
