Well, not anyone. The usual barriers apply to kids still in college. But if you are at least three years out of high school, you’re old enough to try out.

quote:

According to Aiello, the league has no standards or thresholds or experience requirements. If you have the $275 and if you are eligible from an age standpoint, you can try out for the NFL.

quote:

So those of you who have $275 and who think you have the skills to play in the NFL or who want some free publicity or who simply prefer losing your money there instead of at the blackjack tables, go to One Buc Place in Tampa on March 9, Halas Hall on March 10, the Falcons facility on March 16 and 17, the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Seattle on March 23-24, or the Under Armour Performance Center in Baltimore on March 23-24.

Since we had what like 15 sub 4.6's in the what is your 40 thread, some of you need to pursue your dreams. You're only getting older, why not give it one last shot?

I'd definitely pay the $275 so long as they allow me to run the 40/cones in a suit with a lit cigarette and an old fashioned.

I'd say you are a Wes Welker type, great hustle, good motor, straight line speed may not be strong, but you make up for it in your work ethic.

6th round to the Colts.

I may have had some speed waaaaay back in the day, but the only thing I could even attempt at my old age now is PK.

I'll be the XP specialist!

If I had the money to blow I'd consider doing this just to be able to say I did it. The Falcons try outs are during my spring break and about 30 minutes away. No way in hell I'd make it, but it'd be a cool experience.

Might do this next year....

I'd never make it, but if I had money to blow I'd do it.

I'm 6'1 205, which is about the size of a safety or running back.
I'm strong, could do at least 15 push-ups.

Only problem is that I'm not very fast, and I am also white.

I play blues, no one likes that except for me and maybe 10 others.

I could learn some Kid Rock though, maybe they'll help me get a deal so I could play a half time show!

I'd like the OP to reflect my other stats as well, please.

I also ran a 3:55 mile, and had a 43 inch (same as Michael Jordan) vertical.

Because this is a serious thread right. I also said 4.6 in the OP and just took the list that Wooly made.
