Sorry guys, not a report. My dad and his brother are up there for the the week or so. This is the first time in as long as I can remember that they took a trip together. The wind has been brutal and they haven't had much luck. Any hints on what they should try once the wiind calms down? Thanks.

If they are equipped to fish at night tell them to launch at Lanan's and tie up under the bridge and fish shiners....Get a few lighted corks too to throw while the other lines are just sitting.
You have to try different depths as the fish move at different depths through the creek.
Get there early though..
As far as brush piles, no clue, the White Perch should be in the shallows at the next full moon.

Thanks cadello. Our place is in San Miguel on the north bank directly across from wildwood. Last year at this time we literally sat in our backyard on chairs with beer and killed slabs. This year nothing yet,I hope they keep the water up enough for them to move in.

Someone i know has a camp at San Miguel..It has a big red and a big green light at night.
It's fairly new I think.
I do work for the lady who's dad owns it.
They should be there in a few weeks.
We caught 78 under a bridge 2 weeks ago in 2 nights but they were huge.

Do you have a feeder and about 40 canada geese hanging out in your yard?

I caught the most I had ever caught early one January with breezy cold weather. Caught a couple hundred over three days using jigs from someones (unknownst to them) houseboat tied to a pier.
