I still think there should be some sort of customer reimbursement when the fishing is terrible
Yet on page 1 you said...

We caught alot of fish

If I were I taking someone on a guided mallard hunt in the timber and the mallards weren't there but I took them to shoot a handful of scaup I will feel the need to compensate them accordingly.
Another shitty analogy. First you say a lot; then you use the term "a handful." Moreover, please tell me how awful the cobia and snapper tasted.

Clearly, you do not.

What part of the we paid for TUNA do you not understand?
So he didn't take you out to try to catch tuna?
On page 1 you said you tried two different spots and he asked around about a third. Also, why didn't you insist on trying longer for tuna? He forced you to rig fish?

Sorry to bring this thing back up but never had time to post yesterday. You say you didn't bash lance and all you did was tell everyone about your trip but thats not true, all you said is dont go with lance walker. It was not untill people asked why, did you tell about the trip. Every time you tell more about the trip you sound worst. It is very obvious to people that go offshore fishing alot that you don't have any clue what you are talking about. Ive been fishing with lance a dozen times and have been offshore fishing with freinds and guides for 15-20 years. Lance is one of the best offshore guides in the gulf. Also I fished with him twice last year and his deckhand was a young kid who was student at LSU and was very polite and humble as can be. (maybe you had a diffrent deckhand)Also I hope your a big guy or in law inforcement if you plan on not paying any of the guides down in grand isle or venice because you will either end up in jail or worst off.

Check out hunter cabalero with paradise outfitters out of venice or lance walker with fish commander out of grand isle if you don't think you should pay if you don't catch the exact species that you want don't call either because there good guys, just don't go fishing.

Pffft. Treble would have asked for half off on that trip.

I've never fished with Lance Walker, but I have met him several times and he seems like a nice guy. He sure hangs a lot of meat on the dock.

Why didn't you insist on continuing to fish for tuna, instead of letting him take you to rig fish?

own company or work for a company that values their clients. Then you would realize when someone has a poor experience with your service you compensate them accordingly.

Bs....That guy worked his arse to put yall on fish. Why should he be penalized if something beyond his control occurs? He spent the time out there with your group, it just didn't work out. Would you rather him lie to you and just let yall continue fishing for tuna when he knew you wouldn't be catching any? Once you are out there he has spent his fuel, ice, bait.....why should you be free from paying for that? Maybe if you were nice and promised to book with him again, he would have given you a break on the fixed cost the next go round.....

shite if you didn't have to pay for shitty Charter trips I would have fished for free for decades. I used to be able to zero out the best guides in the damn world. It was like a freaking curse or something. From Cabo to Hawaii, Venice, Key West, Alaska you Name it

If they fished with me or it wasnt a charter trip we always did fine.

It's funny that you don't realize that you're the one who is being looked at like a petulant child here. I would love to be there and witness you trying to stiff a captain just because you didn't catch as much as you expected.

I really think you're a troll, because no one can be so silly as to think the charter captain has full control over the fish. Unless he promised you that you would definitely catch tuna, you have absolutely no beef.

Be sure to check Eddie Berger also. He is the un-official OB Offshore Guide out of Venice.

Him. He works his butt off getting you on fish.

The OP might look into renting a houseboat at Venice Marina for a couple nights. Night before and one after. Or pay for a overnight trip which is 10X's better with cost not much more per person.
