Sonny said it was a terrible surface. I do get confused on that at times though seeing as the Hilliard kid ran a 4.5. Either the Hilliard kid had one of the few clean runs or he's exceptionally fast and we should be all over him or Voorhies is legitimately not as fast as we all seem to think. Maybe Voorhies just had a bad run and Hilliard had a very clean one. We'll see later on I guess.

Didn't Hilliard run an electronic sub-4.4 at Nike?
For him to run a hand-timed 4.5, the surface must have been shaky.

Zachary has a artifical turf track. It is the same material as the field. It is a modern turf surface. The field is filled with rubber crumbs but I do not know if that is true of the track. Also dont know if 40's were run on field or track...
