Blue will be 100%. I'm not sure Hill is better than him. We will see who earns it.

Hill is our best RB. Blue looked great running against North Texas, Washington, and Idaho. Hill looked great against quality SEC D and Clemson. And I dont see us rotating multiple backs like we have in the past. Hill is better than Blue, but Blue is way better than Hilliard. I think it will be a legit 2 headed monster with Hill and Blue. Kinda like what Bama did with Lacy and Yeldon. 1 guy gets 17+, the other guys gets 12 touches. While I do think Hill is our best RB and is good at catching the ball out of the backfield, Blue is our best pass catching RB. I love both these backs and think that Blue isn't just a great RB, but a great football players in general. But, Hill is 1 of the more talented RBs in the nation next year. 6'2 235 that can break those 50 yard TDs running away from people. Speed, power, size, aggressiveness, and always goes forward.

I think both guys will have excellent years. They complement each other perfectly and opposing D's will have to pay attention as to who is back there. Best part about them is that they can do similar things. It's not going to be like when Ford came in it went to the outside every time. I knew it, you knew it, the other team knew it. These guys can both run between tackles, outside, and catch the ball.

I really like both backs and I think Hill is maybe a better RB than Blue. I'd like to see serious competition with the winner getting the ball 20 times a game. Let whoever get about 10-15 with Hilliard for everything else.

I don't understand how anyone can honestly say Alfred blue is better than jeremy hill.
Alfred blue was the third guy two yrs ago behind ware an Hilliard.

Comes out if fall camp last yr in top of depth chart (which IMO doesn't mean much) being as LSU never has a premier back.... Gets hurt and then it becomes the JH show.

If he is better than hill we in for a treat this year... I'll have to see more than I have so far from him to believe it.

I know Blue is a fan favorite but I can't see how Blue>Hill. I would take Hill everyday especially in a Les Miles offense. Hill was made for this offense. Blue runs inside a few times and then gets hurt.

Hill could hit a sophomore slump like Hilliard did.

Pretty sure Hilliard was fighting injuries all year.

Blue was doing pretty good before he got hurt. BUT as long as Miles is here, we will NEVER have a #1 tb.

So HOW do YOU know that Blue would not have looked just as good.

I think werm is spot on... Blue will be a senior and Hill will be a soph. If they are even during the spring and such..... Blue will start...... Do I think Blue is better???? NO. Hill is a beast. But YOU are the one NOT paying attention.... HILL didn't dee the field in the 4th against Clemson in a game he played very well. I assure you that BLUE WILL get the start if they are even in the spring.

I don't. But you don't know how he would of done either. I know Hill can run against top Ds in the nation. He's proven it already. Blue hasn't.

Hill reminds me of Hercshal Walker in a sense. He could go at least 20 carries a game and NOT be effected. But THAT IS NOT how Les works. Just ask Charles Scott after the 1st half of the UK game in 2007.

Blue has never shown he is the best back yet everyone is in love with him. I hope he does well but you people treat him like you did Chad Jones.

Dukke, look at my first post in this thread. I never said Hill is going to be the only RB and will get every carry. I know how Les works. Hill > Blue > Hilliard. I see a 2 headed monster with Hill and Blue.
