should be mentioned that i'm sure the massive amount of rainfall we've had since December is putting a hamper on construction.

In addition to the logistics of having multiple rigs, avoiding underground utilities and failed piles. The soil's fairly consistent but loss of skin friction means you have to completely abandon a pile and drive another.
