Who pays for Pandora? There's an android version floating around with no ads and unlimited skips.
Pandora is great if you have a good data connection and a Bluetooth stereo in your car as are many of the shoutcast apps

Spotify does do this.
You can have it play an artist's radio or a playlist radio.
You can also install other apps within spotify. I use Soundrop every day. It lets users around the world nominate songs, then others vote them up the queue. You can find awesome stuff this way.

Yeah, $9.99 a month on Android and iOS.
That's for unlimited everything with no ads.
There is the free version that only works on your desktop. It plays ads every couple of songs tho.
But, 9 dollars a month isn't too much for unlimited playing of over 20 million songs and the music discovery ability of spotify. Seriously, before spotify i stole every single mp3 i had. I have 90 GBs of mp3's (23,000 songs), and didn't pay for any of them. Now, I will gladly pay 9 bucks for what spotify gives. Would actually pay more.

I only use Pandora while I'm at the gym. Otherwise I use Grooveshark.

I run free Pandora all evening/night while driving @ work...seven days a week...all I get is the "still listening" popup every so often...

You are wasting money this way. Go ahead and spend $36 and get it for the year.
That's what I did and there are no more ads, The quality of the music is better with Pandora One on a desktop also.
But if you'd rather pay $120/year for it, then go ahead and continue feeling like you are making a great decision paying monthly.
