It's a lottery generator. First try gave us #1 and taking Marcus Smart. Is he good?

Haven't seen him play much at all, nor heard much about him either...Beacher Report has him being the top pick in their latest mock...

With conf. tourneys around the corner as well as the dance, we will all have a better chance to scout these guys...

Although, like many others, I am very high on Otto Porter....I think if we can get a top 7 pick, we will have a shot at him

I've heard of 3 of these guys, Smart not being one. Going off of the descriptions given, I like what they say about Anthony Bennett.

I love Porter's ability to score and rebound at the 3. I feel like he's the perfect fit for the 3 right now

Damn it, why don't they have our new logo? It will be the Pelicans drafting. ESPN hates Pelicans?

5 straight times of Otto Porter at Number 5 or Number 6.

Smart is good but he's also a combo guard, which scares me a bit.

Unless the plan is to make him a 6th man, backing up both Gordon and Vasquez, I have trouble projecting a long-term role for him, as opposed to a clear 3 in Porter.

In addition, we'd have to seriously consider Ben McLemore if we got 1st overall, if only because we need more shooters. Him developing would make Gordon expendable if he is determined to leave.

All I want is Smart, Oladipo, or Porter.

I really don't want Smart or McClemore. Which is why i wont be upset if we aren't in the top portion of the draft.

I just watched about 20 minutes of OSU highlights and didn't really see anything in smart worthy of a #1 pick. Didn't see him taking or making many jump shots. From the 4-5 games I saw he took a lot of bad shots and made them only because he was bigger than the players guarding him. That won't be the case in the league. Maybe I'm missing something idk, but I'd much rather Mclemore

Smart shoots 40% from the field and 30% from 3.

He has NBA size and athleticism but his game doesnt impress me.

Smart is an elite prospect for a reason. He has the tools to be a great PG/Combo Guard. The comparison to Harden (coming into the league) is pretty apt, although he is probably more of a PG than Harden was.

He does have poor shot selection, and his percentages are low. But he's an excellent passer, good finisher, is a great defender, and has great athleticism. I'd love to get him.

Smart's basketball instincts are what impresses me most.

Edit: But I'd probably still take B.M. first anyway.

Talk about some high flyers, McLemore, Aminu, Davis.

Well of course I'd take McLemore first.

Who compared Smart to Harden? They play nothing alike, even as prospects out of college.
