A rematch of the 2009 WBC finals is on right now, Cuba is up 3-0 on Japan.

Both of these teams have already advanced to the bracket round, this is just to see who finishes first in the pool.

Seems like Konerko or Prince would be the choice since they are both already in Arizona.

Lefty with a low k rate. He is young so won't mind hitting low in the line up. Plus he is tearing the cover off the ball now and provides a great glove

Don't know how he is a bad selection

Good glove and solid contact rate. He's no Prince obviously, but I'm excited to see him play for Team USA.

He's a good option no doubt, my hopes were up on Prince or Konerko though.

Now that the two asian groups are finished, we now actually get some games that are at reasonable times.

Two games today are Mexico vs Italy at 2pm followed by Venezuela vs Dominican Republic at 5:30pm.
