A couple of Gilligan Island questions.

1 - How did the Skipper stay so fat when all the rest of them were thin? Did he have a secret deal with one of the local canibal tribes to keep him supplied?
2 - How smart was the Professor anyway? Couldn't he have come up with a way to patch up a workable boat/raft, salvage the compass from the boat, create some Viking style oars and get their asses to some inhabitble place?

1. Somehow they had an infinite supply of coconut cream pies. Heck Hurley stayed fat on Lost. Poor guy forced the writers to come up with a reason he was still so fat.
2. The professor actually wanted to stay on the island with Mary Ann & Ginger. Clearly someone with his intelligence could have gotten himself off the Island so the fact that he did not proves he wanted that arse.
Once his life was imperiled, he fixed up those rafts to escape the flood.

Extremely. He was stuck on an island with 2 hot chicks and his competition was an old married dude who was with his wife, a fat guy and a dweeb. Notice who was the only one with his own cabin

- Why did Ginger bring an endless supply of evening gowns with her on a 3-hour tour?
- Ditto Mr and Mrs Howell with cases filled with money and jewelry?
- Where did they take showers/baths and where did they wash clothes?

Gilligan fricked up the glue that was needed for the boat, that was the first or second episode. That's why they couldn't patch up the boat.
Maybe Ginger was going somewhere after the tour where she would have needed the gowns.
the Howells did whatever the frick they wanted and needed no reason for their actions. They were ballers, they always carried money around to flaunt it like modern ballers do. they were just ballers before their time.
they had a shower, a small stand up shower where they pulled a string and the bucket poured water on them, there are episodes where you see them taking a shower. Remember they made soap, and then had to eat it so they wouldn't blow up from eating the radioactive super power vegetables.
MaryAnn washed clothes like a good woman should down by the lagoon
