one of the worst player's odds for blackjack in the country. 8 deck shoe, no surrender. Hate that place. I only go there for craps or to park.

I like the no smoke place in Ms. Can't remember the name. Been there once, and I'd like to go more.

both starting safeties, Chris Ivory, and multiple picks for Revis and probably a draft pick

Holy balls. No way in hell that should be done

depends on the picks (if this source is true). Both safeties are problems, so no loss there. Ivory is a bonus not a necessity. As long as it's not a 1st or a multitude of picks, I'm down for this trade

Why would we give them multiple picks after giving them 3 potential starters? I imagine a pick would be involved.

If multiple picks means a 3rd this yr and a 3rd next yr that can be bumped to a second if he makes the Pro Bowl then I will be happy with that.

I'm not objecting to the garbage safeties, but garbage safeties + Ivory + multiple picks + whatever salary he would command = untenable.

Hey if they agree to just a 3rd this yr or just a 2nd for next yr I will jump on that trade.

Well we know ivory will most likely not want to come back cause he knows he has a much better chance to start somewhere else. Revis goal he wants to be on a great team, and wants a team with a very good offense.

So, do this rumor actually have legs to it?

Or is this likely just some made up rumor from someone you know?

I think this rumor has some leg to it, but it depends on what the jets want. Incarcerated Bob who first reported said the Broncos are talking to the jets about Revis rehab.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were some legs. Never posted it since it was 3rd hand info that could easily change with a new DC, but a good friend of mine is friends with someone with the organization that got the ax right after Spags did. After he got let go, he told my friend that Revis and Reed were the two players they were planning to target. I was skeptical since it was about a week before word of Revis's availability came out, but maybe the teams were told about it before the media broke it. I still don't quite believe it all, but my friend isn't the type to bullshite me about that kind of thing, though.

Personally, I don't think that there's any way we could afford it cap wise. I do think that a lot of people are overestimating the type of picks/players it will take to acquire Revis, though. He's coming off the injury, will require a massive contract, and also has a no franchise clause in his contract (which I didn't previously think was possible).

Well if we can trade Harper and Jenkins we might have enough money to sign Reed to a cap friendly 2yr deal. Plus I think Brees will do something with his contract next offseason like Brady if we need him to.

I would be shocked if the Jets would be looking to acquire two of the worst safeties in the NFL, one of them at $11m over the next two seasons.

I think it's nothing more than a rumor, but I'm always curious to hear if it could possibly be more

Well people think that Jenkins and Harper might be better in Rob scheme. So maybe Rex thinks they can be good in his scheme.

If we send them those 3 players and if the multiple picks are any higher than a 5th then that defense better be a top ten.

I think Harper definitely would, but I think Jenkins is a lost cause.

Jenkins might still make for a solid nickel back. I don't want to see him playing FS this year, though.
