Why is Ash always shocked that Gary is ahead of him? I mean frick, he has a damn car and doesn't have to waste a whole day fighting Team Rocket every episode.
And what the hell was Brock doing the whole episode? He just disappeared and the beginning and then reappears at the end and doesn't even ogle Misty's sisters before they leave.

Why are all of these gym leaders getting crushed by 10 year olds from one town who all have their birthday on the same day???
Misty battling as gym leader is stupid. Just go pick up your pokemon from the health center morons.
Why does Rocket even try when they have the some shitty pokemon over and over and keep losing. If you couldnt beat ash by himself, why even bother when he is with gym leaders? Oh yea, cuz they all suck and ash is a dumbass 10 year old, i forgot.
I like the endless puns at least. And James is gay.

I think you are misinterpreting the birthday thing. It is just means you are ten years old. It is like all of the fifth graders in Pallet Town get a Pokemon and this happens once every year to a new group of kids.

Alright episode 8 is pretty annoying for a number of reasons.
Ash has reached a new level of cockiness for beating a couple 10 year olds. It's like every lesson he has learned in the previous episodes he has already forgotten.
The best part of this episode was the pacing/passing/patting commentary.
Ash is a complete dick, trying to steal AJs pokemon because he actually trains them. You are such a pussy ash. It makes it very hard to root for him. Worst protagonist ever. AJ shoulda drowned him in the pool then boned misty while brock jerks off in the corner or some shite to pokemon porn
And wtf, do brock and misty ever battle again? Come on, I thought they wanted to be trainers too? Their pokemon just hibernate in their balls for weeks now? Thats fricked up

I think he was very cocky and suck in the beginning but over time, he got alot better and having a Pikachu that can defeat almost any type would work as well.
But in reality, they should make a MMORPG out of this (offical one) and finally, get a G/F for Ash, the only time when we got smooch on a cheek and we didnt know if it was a Pokemon or not (Misty doesnt count)
