Well, we aren't talking avgs. LSU most likely wouldn't get 7k into PMAC. La Tech had over 5k for Texas-Arlington. I would imagine they would pull more than that for LSU.

yay for Tech, but they better win that WAC tourney are they will probably be in the NIT. That RPI is too damn low for an at-large, especially when the NCAA has left out mid-majors with a lot higher RPIs.
I was at Tech when Karl Malone played and we went to the Sweet Sixteen in Dallas, only to lose on a last-second shot from Wayman Tisdale. damn it.

One game at a time. Got Utah St. next at home. Then close out the season at New Mexico St. and Denver. Those three games will be tough. If Tech wins out and loses the championship game then I think they will still get an invite to the Dance. But they got along way to go before that. It will be damn hard to just win the last four games.

I was to young to remember that game. I've been told about how that last shot by Tisdale seemed to just circle around the rim an eternity before going in. Talk about heartbreak. Wayman passed away a few years ago. RIP Wayman Tisdale.

Agreed. The whole Bowl Game thing was old 2 months ago.
If you keep using it as a joke or as a way to "make fun" of Tech, then it just shows you're lazy.

At least Tech angered an ESPN writer enough to call them out. Whether or not they belong doesn't matter to me - I'm glad they're doing well and trying to get the program steady. The women's team should still be a powerhouse had admin not fricked that up.
The Tech jokes are still humorous to me - whether it's bowl invite related or 'don't give a frick'. Why is it funny? Because it's Louisiana Tech; had it been any other school, it wouldn't be as funny. Tech brings it on themselves.
