I don't watch The Walking Dead but I'd watch that live seeing that it's only an hour. The Oscars are freaking long, so you'd be able to fast forward through a TON of commercials. Unless you wants to be in a Oscars chat thread.

This is a no brainer. DVRs were invented for award shows. My wife and I will start the oscars around 9 and catch up before its over at ten
