On my high school team, or when I was in high school in general? Does AAU count?

Against: Nelson Akwari, of the Texans (Houston area soccer club, not to be confused with the Dallas club). Had to guard this guy one-on-one - not an easy task.

LINK

For: Josh Pastner. Dude was my coach for youth b-ball in Kingwood.

I know Josh. He's alright but his brother Austin is a tool.

Army brat and lived in PA for one year. We were in the same district as Kyle Brady (1st round TE for the Jets) who played at Cedar Cliff High in Camp Hill, PA. Dude was literally a man among boys. He was 6'6" 250 in high school and dominated every sport he played. I played basketball, not football, but dude was just a crazy good athlete for his size.

:csb - He blocked a punt for a TD against us at homecoming with 40 seconds left in the game for the go-ahead game winning TD. It was incredible.

Team i dont know... Best player jonathan bender.. Most wont remember the name.. But he was 6'11 and could shoot lights out outside and take the ball to the hole with ease.. Broke michael jordans mcdonalds all american game scoring record and went 6th pick "i think" right out of high school to the pacers. Injury plagued career then set in.

No, but I live close to Kingwood and have friends in Kingwood. I know the Pastners through the Houston Hoops and Houston basketball in general. Everybody knows Hal if you played AAU basketbll.

Played against Rondell Mealey Destrahan, Tommy Banks WM, Troy Edwards Huntington(bad team great player, Reggie Wayne, Johnny Mitchell and Theo Williams John Ehret(shite load of D1 talent. (could be more). In baseball I pitched against Josh Booty. He was 0-2 with 2 k's and I ear holed him in his 3rd AB. Also, we got beat by Ben Sheets/St. Amant during the state playoffs. The only one we lost to in football was Mealey in the semi finals.

Haughton. The late Joe Delaney. He was all they had, but he was more than enough.

I'd say playing Greg Monroe's team. He was a stud and had a couple others on his team go D1. Pretty sure their whole starting five went D1

Shell Royals American Legion Baseball Team. Think Lafayette/Carencro HS. Starting pitcher was Ron Guidry. He struck me out but I hit two foul balls off him first.

All 3 outfielders were track stars with the lowest 100 yard dash times in the district. They showed off their speed on high fly balls. IE, if you hit a high fly to center the RF would call him off, race over and make the catch. Then if you hit a high fly to RF the CF would call him off and catch it.

Guidry was really small. Maybe 140 pounds. But had a great fastball that tailed off.
