This was already known before the combine. Not saying its gonna hurt him but not saying it'll be ignored either. Time will tell. Never was big fan of taking him in 1st anyways.

as said, you could find this in scouting reports written after the season.. He'll be ready June or July. A factor but a minor one if you have rated as the guy on your board.

No one mentioning his toughness? He played through this.

I still dont think that hurts him to much if Philly does not take OL they will grab him! With there Oline problems I am certain they upgrade that position!

Could be good, could be bad. If he's a guy the staff wants, hell probably drop a little more than he would. If not, that's one less player a team will take to push the guy we want back

Saints need guys that can play right away. No more projects during the Drew Brees era.

I don't think he will be that much of a project if he is in fact healthy come strap on pads time and has put on the weight they say he has.

just to note CB Milliner is having the same surgery, not expected to affect his draft stock

throwing in a good Mayock quote:

"I kind of like (Oregon linebacker) Dion Jordan, who I think is two years away from being an Aldon Smith-type player," Mayock said. "He's only about 240 pounds, but he's 6-7. He's got frightening athletic skills, and he's a year away. He would be a situational pass rusher year one, and if he puts 20 pounds on, I think he's going to be a perennial All-Pro. I really like the kid. But, again, that's a little bit of a risk/reward. You're betting on this kid two years from now."
