Was craving a good PoBoy last night but the choices are far and few between and/or closed in the evenings. It's amazing to me that there aren't any PoBoy places east of Causeway too.

Do they just not make enough money?

When Rags shut down, it was a sad day for Mandeville.

Bears has alotta' market share though. And why not? They're awesome.

Where is Bears? I looked for it on my way home from Franco's last night and must have missed it. Siri called it Bears Grill which made me think that I couldn't quickly step in and grab a PB to go home with.

Ofcourse Ponchartrain was closed by the time I passed by. Then I passed by Monster PoBoys which is also shut down. Ended up with a Panini from Rouses

Peck's on 21 in the strip next to Winn Dixie is pretty good.

Pontchartrain Poboys on Hywy 22 across from Beau Chene and Bear's in Covington are both good. I really don't mind deli poboys at Aquistipace.

Edit: Add Hooked Up in the marina at the Madisonville swing bridge. This will get me flamed but due to limited NS choices I will sometimes go to New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood.

Triple Nickel, Peck's, Bear's, Hooked Up, Pontchartrain, and Rusty Pelican come to mind.

Triple Nickel is excellent.

Suburban life. Ruby's, Tap Room and Green Room have late night drunk friendly food. I am heading over to Rock-n-Blues Cafe. New joint on Columbia street. Wino's and Tacos opened in the old Etoille place.
