The conversions from 55m to 40yard will always be faster than what their 40yard splits truly are. They are able to get to their top end speed and turnover, whereas the start for the first 40 would be slower. For instance Trindon's 40 at the speed he ran his indoor sprint fastest time would be converted to a 4.13 forty, which we know is much faster than he actually ran.
