Deal. You can go in as Bert Macklin and I will go in as Kip Hackman.

I'm 100% sure they are setting up Parks and Rec to be cancelled. Leslie fulfilling her dreams, Ron settling down, Chris coming to terms with himself, Tom opening his shop and growing up, our boy Bert Macklin perhaps finding his calling...

Its gone.

NBC's execs are terrible. They mismanage everything, don't give shows enough time, and haven't cobbled together any kind of lineup toward a particular demographic.

And they got rid of Conan. It's all been downhill since then.

Why CBS? NBC is the retards who will replace them with Animal Practice.

Reality programming is a terrible lead-in to drama. Singing/Cooking/Dancing/Weight Loss are the worst. They have no idea how to block their shows together to keep people tuned in.

Have you watched with the new cast who came in? I actually like them. I don't know how much longer the show has in it, but good change from before.

this

Parks and Rec 4 million viewers
Community 3.5 million viewers

BBT - 18 million viewers
2 and a half men - 15 million viewers

Who to blame in this situation.

I love Parks and Rec. I think it's the best sitcom on television. Even better than Archer or Louie. I also believe that if it gets cancelled, it ended at precisely the right point. It would be hard to be upset at its run from an artistic standpoint.

This is what I am most afraid of. NBC is the only one of the four network stations to mix in some educated, high brow jokes throughout their shows.

I wouldn't be too worried. Look at what NetFlix is doing with Arrested Development. If that revival is successful I wouldn't be surprised if you saw them pick up the complex comedy torch. The problem is the people that want easy comedy far outnumber those that want complex comedy, but if you can concentrate the complex comedy consumers in one place it will be viable.

I think parks EARNED its title as best sitcom on television right now. Few shows start out so poorly and change pace so quick as Parks has done. Like I've said now I actually enjoy the first season now that I appreciate the show that much more. One of the few shows that you can appreciate every character and not just a few. The whole ensemble is excellent.

I believe the first part, but who still watches 2.5 Men?

I'll tell you guys (and gal<--for you urntrouble) that the NBC Thursday night shows at this point in time will be looked back upon as being cult classics.

Bring back Chuck!

NBC has screwed themselves and deserves the horrible ratings they are getting. They way they treated, Chuck!, Community and Grimm is dreadful and proves they have no idea what is going on.

Heck even the Chase about the female marshall was given the boot for no reason and did very well in the ratings.

I love Parks & Rec and there is almost no doubt Comminity will be done after this year. The thing that might save Parks is that NBC clearly has nothing else. With 30 Rock, The Office, Up All Night and probably Community being done they may give Parks another year.

WTF

The best comedy on television is getting 4 million fricking viewers. While BBT and 2 and a half men combined are 34 million viewers. 19 and 15 respectively.
