Yep. The left wing isn't interested in the truth.

Here is Salon's take:

Claiming now that this constitutes “Obama’s sequester” isn’t just a stretch. The debate over whether Obama was “really” the author of it isn’t very interesting.
And that's that.

It is still theater for the masses, though... They both require the cuts, regardless where they come from, all these clowns don't want to go away as the guys that destroy America in 40 years through debt... But the cuts are not big enough...they need to prioritize the purpose of federal government, draw a line half way down the list, and eliminate programs that aren't in their wheelhouse

I kige this.

But what will really happen is they'll kick the can down the road at the last second and hide a bunch of wasteful spending in the bill.

re: Top Dem Senator Admits Sequester Was Obama’s Idea

As a Dem who usually supports Obama, I wish he would proudly take credit for the sequestration idea. It has long been clear that Congress was unable to take significant steps to curb the deficit and deal with long-term debt. What better way to force some compromise than to face a consequense that neitherparty wants? It was obviously optomistic to think that the folks we pay to take care of business would be able to set ideology aside and do the right thing.

As much as I would like a thoughtful solution to result from this major league game of chicken, I doubt the parties will come to an agreement.
However, I am not so sure
invoking sequestration will cause our economy to collapse and may be the best we can hope for.
