You don't see Battier and Ray Allen hitting 3s? Or Haslem grabbing rebounds and taking charges? Or Cole playing tough on-ball defense?

Players have roles on teams. Them performing those roles within the scheme is what makes a team.

They don't, but their style of play has the best shot over the 1-on-1 styles of the Clips and Thunder to beat Miami IMO.

That wasn't a reference to you. It was a reference to those who still think the Spurs are boring, and don't want him in the Finals because of it.

And you don't see Allen, Birdman, Cole, Battier, and Anthony?

The Heat this year have become the team everyone feared they would become when they came together 2 years ago.

I see some of that, not all though

You act like I am saying they are not impressive or won't win it all.

I'm just saying who if anyone has a better shot to beat them in a 7 game series

Who exactly in the EAST could beat Miami over 7 games other than the Pacers?

From the West I say LAC or OKC (both not likely). I'd see Miami learning how to defeat SA in game one or two and SA not being able to do anything different after that and the series would be over

I'm really just referencing you saying the Pacers play better as a team than the Heat, and I don't think that's accurate. I just think you're conflating how much people contribute with how people work within a scheme. The role players for the Heat are obviously going to do less because they have a more simplified role than players on the Pacers would. That's all.

I guess the Pacers are the toughest challenge, but I don't think their talented enough to really challenge the Heat at full health. If the Knicks could shoot 45% from 3 for a series, they'd have a chance, maybe.

As far as the West goes, I think OKC is the toughest challenge because they've got the talent. The Spurs are a good team, but I don't think match up as well once the rotations shorten. The Spurs really struggled offensively against the Thunder's athleticism, and it would be compounded with Wade and LeBron being focused defensively and in the passing lanes.

If Hibbert shows up and can play 35-40 minutes, two big ifs at this point, the Heat could get uncomfortable.

Durant is the only guy in the world who can even come close to keeping up with LeBron. Even then, probably still not enough. Thunder are going to regret not dumping Perkins and keeping Harden.

Spurs aren't very fun to watch

Best team to watch in the NBA. Could you expound on why you think they are not fun to watch?

Of course, he won't, and he's not really capable of that many minutes. He's only played >35m 5 times this season out of 54 games. And even in the playoffs last season, he only had 1 game >35m out of 11.

I see it the complete opposite.

I think Miami would absolutely love to see LAC or OKC in the Finals as opposed to San Antonio.

I think a Spurs/Heat finals would be epic. It would be super-team vs super-star.

Spoelstra goin against Popovich would also be very interesting.

I still think they are going to have a tough time stopping Durant to even get to the finals.

Durant didn't really kill them in the WCF last year. It was more of a combination of Harden, Durant, and Ibaka and Perkins getting a ton of offensive boards.

Kawhi Leonard is probably one of the few defenders in the league who can limit Durant's field goal percentage.
