I guess I was paying more attention to the "xbox will shite the bed" comment you made....I think both consoles will be very close to the same, each will have its own little niche that people will like....they both will share really popular titles and each will have exclusive titles people will want. A person in the market for a new console will weigh all those options and make a purchase. Fanboys on either side will stick with their console....and the master race will continue to gloat their superiority.

MS has done what every other company does, take ideas and expand upon/spin off of them. It's led to a mixed bag of success. Kinect sold well, but no there's no software for it and what it does have sells horribly. No one buys games for it.
I got my 360 at launch as well as my PS3 and to really consider MS as an innovative company that doesn't just provide a spec bump is hilarious to me.

I guess you missed the part where they said they wanted to put all of their past libraries on PSN with Gaikai.

I currently play my Xbox 360 more ATM with Halo FWIW...but at the same time PS3 is my favorite.
