Maybe it's the fact that he attempted 22 shots per game despite having a career field goal percentage of 42%? If Iverson was less of a ballhog and more efficient from the field, he would have gotten the credit that he deserved.

Well he basically had to be like that with the Sixers. No help at all.

Is 42% bad for a guard? Seems like that would be a pretty good percentage considering most of the players with high fg percentages are big men. Not a big AI fan btw.
