Yeah, he did. Said that would scare away anyone. eta- well, technically, he said fire it outside the house. That will keep anyone from coming in. LINK

You're right. I was being too forgiving. He actually said to just go outside and fire it. Never mind being sure of your target or what might lie beyond it. Just blast your only two shots away, in god knows what direction, ostensibly to frighten the intruders away with the sound.

This was the amazing part. So, I'm not supposed to own an "assault weapon" but it's ok to open fire with a shotgun into the night? Maybe I'm missing the connection? Is blindly opening fire with a shotgun in the best interest of the public? This is the quote:

The kid in CA used a shotgun. He even reloaded and shot people. Did he have a high capacity magazine? The media isn't talking about it.

Didn't a lady in Florida get charged for illegal discharge of a firearm for doing this to scare off someone that assaulted her?
