Say you catch some big females that are full of eggs and have obviously not spawned. What does the OB do?

Oh and since I didn't answer my own question. I release them as well.

Sometimes release, sometimes fry up the roe with the filets.

Release but I don't have a problem with people who don't

Similar to speckled trout roe, but not as salty. I roll em in Zatarains and throw them in the grease. Watch out for the "pops"! Good stuff, I normally cook them first and eat them while I am frying the filets

Depends on where I am fishing, but I follow this rule all times of the year and I usually end up with only a couple females with eggs:
Keep anything legal under 3ish pounds. Throw anything back over 3ish pounds unless I plan on mounting it.

I throw the big ones back unless they swallow the hook. Or I have a fish fry planned and I'm having a tough day.

I catch her in the Fall and fry her up. Same net number of fishes, but my conscience feels good.

Release them . I usually only keep yearling bass about a pound and a half or two pounds
