You say that as if some in office pass laws incorporating global warming scare tactics into every day life and force feed liberal babble to our youth in public school. Oh wait. But we're the nutjobs

Not exactly. I've been studying the GW arguments and documents since 96. I've posted well over 2,000 posts on poli boards long before I came here regarding GW. It's de-dev + grants. De Dev is the driving philosophy. Grants is the money.

do you understand what the word "excess" means??
Yes. Do you understand that an "ideology" isn't like exercise or alcohol in that "too much of a good thing" is bad? If an ideology is correct, it should be exercised to the extreme. If an ideology must be tempered by moderation, else it's a disaster, that ideology is a fundamentally bad ideology to begin with.

I think this piece is completely representative of the disconnect between the media, the political elite, and the citizenry. It really is a simple as these people work for us, not us for them. When the media run stories about these poor politicians not getting reelected because they were primaried by the Tea Party or these poor politicians not being able to vote the way they want to because they are scared they won't be reelected, I just shake my head. Like I give a shite. These asshats shouldn't be making politics a career anyways. It's public service, not a birth right. /rant

Because he's actually questioning life long politicians??? I wish more would do this.
There's nothing wrong with questioning the status quo, but it is possible to do this without needlessly smearing and slandering folks.

Idiots like Cruz alienate moderates and are the reason we're stuck with Obama for two terms. You think?
Not a chance. Were that actually the case, Pelosi-Reid would have allowed the GOP a Senate super-majority as well as the Presidency.

Why is the New York Times prejudiced against Latino politicians? We need a national dialogue on this.
