With all the craziness now on getting new ones, I was reflecting on old ones.
My first-when I was about 12 (1969) my Dad bought me a shotgun for Christmas. Single shot 12 gauge 3". The brand is a Foremost made by Savage and sold through J C Pennys. It will still bust your shoulder, but shoots good.

My first firearm was a winchester .410 that was my grandpa's. I never knew him, my dad didnt even know his own father, he passed about 2 months before my dad was born. Its one of the few things we still have of his. It ain't the prettiest gun in the world, but it is very, very special to me. I still shoot it all the time.

A camo bb gun.

First "real" gun was an old .410 crackbarrel. Dad had to saw a couple inches off the stock for it to fit me. Made my eye too close to the hammer and I got gashed once while trying to shoot a squirrel straight up above me. I'm still scared of .410's.

First rifle was a .243 Remington. All 3 of these guns along with my 20 gauge youth model Remington 870 were stolen when I was a kid. fricking hate thieves. That .410 and bbgun were worth maybe 75 bucks together yet they were priceless to me.

Ruger Stainless Steel Single Six .22/.22 mag.

Bought it in 1980.

Gave it to my brother for his wedding, when he and his wife separated she stole the gun and said it was stolen.
If i ever find out who has it there will be hell to pay.
