His offense was the thing holding them back, hence he was fired. I can understand him being given a ring because they are friends, I doubt it was because he did such a bang up job, "big guy".
they averaged less PPG without him shit, he called the right plays to put them in the Super Bowl last year. Receiver dropped the ball then their kicker missed a 30 yard field goal.

If Miles had won 3 out of 4 national championships, his fanboys would be saying he was far and away the greatest coach in CFB with no one else even in the conversation. Saban does it and its not a "huge gap." Better recruiting, better results, head to head advantage despite inheriting a losing team, chamionships galore, etc. and it's even in y'all's minds. Lordy dee

I hope you're kidding? Besides the 5 terrible calls made my Les and Co, there's also the issue of that TD coming when LSU blitzed, not prevent.

Wrong. How can people forget what ledto LSU only being up by 3 fricking points with a minute? Yes, the D gave up the last TD. That same D held Bama to 5 straight 3 and outs in the 2nd half. If you forget what happened in the first half, then you come to this conclusion of "the game was lost on a last minute TD". If you look honestly at the terrible calls in the 1st half and some in the 2nd, you'll come to the realization that this game was lost on bad play calling. With that said, I hope with this hire that LSU beats the ever living shite out of Bama for the next few years to where I can try to start forgetting 1/9 and 11/3.

In addition to 2011, how many of Saban's recruits were on the 2010 team? Recall 24-21 or did you just start hating LSU on 1-9-12?

Head to head its not a huge gap. One game difference in wins and the teams average about 4 points difference in scores per game. Let LSU play Tennessee six times in the last six years rather than Florida 6 times in the last six years and there is probably no difference.

We're 23-4 the last two yrs, with an SEC championship. We lost to Bama twice Fla and Clemson. We dont get to play Ky and Tenn, we get Ga and Fla. Huge Gap? Man get a clue! Theres a reason Alabama normally schedules their bye week the week b4 the LSU game. Coincidence?

Miles has done a better job at both recruiting and player development than Saban did at LSU.

The FINAL step to the master plan is hiring a statistics major that knows football and will specialize in calling timeouts.
