And I'm sure his almost daily "Bitcoin is now trading at $XX.XX!!!" proclamations are not intended at all to encourage others to buy bitcoins and drive up the price.....

To be fair, I'm the one doing that. And the only reason I haven't bought Bitcoin is because of my uncertainty. I don't know where the bubble is going to max out at so I'd much rather wait until it pops to buy in.

It was around $15 two months ago. I'd say it's a bubble. I think there will be a big correction. I also think that this is the closest thing to the "currency of the future" that is out right now.
