looked at the badge and instantly thought of the brother in law on breaking bad. lol memphs you are a real character. BTW I have some friends at LSU that went to school with LF at the Aug and says that he is only entertaining other schools and is 90% LSU and 10% Bama

Breaking bad is my favorite show, and that meme is definitely avi worthy.

Herschel wasn't bigger...he was 6-1 225. He just looked bigger with those huge shoulder pads and playing next to smaller football players back then. LFs speed is closer to Walkers also. Bo had ludicrous speed ... ..Space Balls reference

Yeah I found that they were close in size on paper when I checked too. All the old timers in my family swear Herschel was bigger and it's always looked that way to me. Bo was definitely more shifty, but they had the same acceleration and straight line speed. 6.15 and 6.18 for Herschel and Bo respectively in the 60yd. Marcus Dupree was no slouch either. Those three are in the top 4-5 back of the last 50 years. Drawing a comparison to any one of these guys is high praise. It'll be fun watching fournette tear it up in TS.

That's a big stretch of a comparison. Bo was an amazing RB, but he's no Leonard.

The pressure on LF is gonna be ridiculous. If he doesn't come in and rush for 1,700 yards and score 22 touchdowns, the rant is gonna label him a bust.

BO JACKSON Watch this tape, and then reconsider the comparison. Nobody near Bo's size and strength could accelerate like he could. I think it is more important that we get Robinson and the big DB's on our board than LF. He is great, but we don't have trouble finding RB's. People around here develop crushes on skill position players, especially RB's.

Fournette resembles Adrian Peterson at that age. It's scary to think about, really. Dude is going to be monstrous if he stays healthy.

LF is gonna be a good one for sure, but comparing him to the 2 most GOD given talents to ever run the football is just absurd!! Even comparing him to Adrian Peterson would be a stretch

I see more Adrian Peterson in him than anything except with better hands and no fumbling issues.

cant compare him to BO. We dont even know if his speed is that legit yet i found a 100m dash time for LF, im not sure when he ran it, but 11.32 for comparison, Bo Jackson's fastest 100m time was 10.39, nearly a full second faster

Been watching cfb for 34 yrs. kids are getting bigger & faster. Strength and conditioning is now a bigger factor than ever before. That being said, IMO- Bo & Herschel are still THE 2 best cfb players I've ever seen.

THIS! Don't think this isn't being used against LSU in this recruitment, either. Let's all take a deep breath and realize he's a teenager and let him BE one. He doesn't have to be as great as Herschel, Bo, Adrian, or anyone else. Let him be Leonard Fournette!

Fournette is a once in a year high school RB. Best in the country. Bo was a once in a lifetime RB. NObody has his combination of speed, acceleration, power, and size. Fournette is comparable to Marcus Lattimore, a truely elite talent.

why are people in this thread lowering AP's accomplishments like he isn't already on par with those of the past? Watch AP's 2012 highlight tape and then watch that Bo Jackson highlight tape. The guy is already on par with the legends. If Fournette compares to AP then we got a future legend in our midst.
