Honestly, it sounded like they just had the settings on the mixer screwed up. Everything just sounded kinda distorted like when one input is too low, so you jack the gain up an output to get the volume right and you just end up with distortion.

I could be wrong...

God forbid people expect the program that they pay a lot of money to support use that money effectively to put out a good experience in the stadium.

Did they really not test it?
Apparently, the LSUAD doesn't believe in doing a game day dry test run beforehand to make sure EVERYTHING is working properly for the opening game. If stuff doesn't work, it's just because of their negligence. No excuse for it at all. Poor management. You get out there and test everything.

This. If you're going to install a nice sound system, make sure it remains operational.

It's was definitely too loud under grandstand before game and in right field bleachers early on, but it's seems like they got it adjusted by game end.

As far as I'm concerned, a minor blip compared to the "A" light being out on the Alex Box sign last year.

Another negative - someone forgot to open the right field gate (by playground) so fans had to wrap back around to exit stadium. Easy fix.

A positive - The Intimidater has a new cover (old one was faded).

How do they not do a pregame checklist? I don't get this.

I get that sometimes electronic equipment has a mind of its own, but good lord.

There are walk up songs, they started playing most of them in the later innings.

"Hey Tiger fans...."

That's my only comment about the sound system as that's all I hear before some sponsor crap.

Fire your uncle's company!

The audio was poor on the hype video before the game, but the national anthem was fine.

I couldn't hear Franques that well, but the 11 year old in the 3rd inning was loud and clear.

LSU must be in violation of said rule because I heard many walk up songs today while the batter was near the plate.
