Wish I had caught it from the beginning. I love this movie.

I always forget about the David Bowie scene in the hall while dancing. So great.

I've always really dug it. Very entertaining. Cast had great chemistry, loved the director's flourishes.

Guilty pleasure for sure.

I've never liked this movie, but I can still watch it when it comes on, so I must like it more than I think.

You just have to lose yourself in the movie. It is so much fun.

Just realized that Heath's girl's handmaiden is Bereniece Bejo...main chick in The Artist.

Yep. I just really love the movie. The scene when he sees his father and his father is blind...
Great movie, one of my favorites.

I'm just short of loving it, but I like it a lot. Normally the whole deliberate anachronism thing turns me off. Sometimes it works, like in this film. As effective a use of out-of-place music as Flash Gordon, and, although not as fun as that movie, is a pretty fun bag of popcorn.

It is on another level as Flash Gordon. Flash had one decent actor, Max Von Sydow. Besides that it is one of the campiest movies ever. And I like Flash Gordon.

Like I said, "fun". I didn't say Flash Gordon was a better movie.
Plus, that's not fair about the acting - maybe you should re-watch it. Topol, Timothy Dalton, Brian Blessed, Peter Wyngarde, Richard O'Brien were all excellent. Sam Jones and Melody Anderson were hollow as the leads, but that's one of the charming things about the film.
But regardless, I might stipulate that Knight's Tale is a little more tight, crisp of a movie, but Flash Gordon is more than a bit more fun.
Both feature the music of Queen, so that's something, right?

I always thought the blacksmith chick (Lydia from Breaking Bad) was hotter than Heath's love interest.
That movie had an awesome cast.

Holy shite, damn.
Oh, and no way she's hotter than Sossomon.

I always thought the music was kind of funny but I read a couple weeks ago that the director chose the music because he wanted the audience to be as pumped up by the music as someone in the Middle Ages would with some guy humming away at the lute.
Put it in perspective. I have always loved this movie.
