Love that song and album (saw them live back then), but I'd have to say Kill the Moonlight is a more developed and better record.

I liked Series because of the rawness... and not so many keyboards..
Girls Can Tell is probably my second favorite, but I like Kill the Moonlight too... They started to lose me after that and I no longer find their music essential listening for me...
But, I'd say for that 3 album span they were probably my favorite band at the time...

Don't get me wrong, I have and love Telephono, Soft Effect EP, Girls Can Tell, Series of Sneaks and most of their other albums. I just liked them more when you could start to hear infuences like The Rolling Stones and Joe Jackson in their later stuff.
