but I do take a Milk Thistle supplement that does wonders for the liver. Yeah I know, I didn't believe it either till I took it for a week.
How could you tell or what were the positive effects?

Thanks, its been sort of a hobby for a while now. Btw.....in a survival situation, it'd be very difficult to get enough calories just foraging on wild vegetation. Some vitamins and minerals and fiber and SOME calories, yes, but not major calories. The high starch things like Canna Lily rhizomes, cattail rhizomes, greenbriar rhizomes aren't too tasty and are somewhat intensive to prepare. I obviously didn't add nuts/berries/fruits like oak mast, papaw's and persimmons.

If anyone is seriously interested in this type of thing. Buy "Edible Plants of the Gulf South" by Dr. Charles Allen. Its a great book that is pretty much about plants found in LA. I worked for Dr. Allen one summer and it was amazing the amount of edible plants/fungi he showed us in the woods.

Fatty liver. I can feel it. When I take the milk thistle, that goes away. I get more energy and I shite like a howitzer.
