The New York Times is racist against Latinos. We need a national dialogue on this. I thought our society was past this. Very disappointing. Get that national dialogue going. Maybe some racist therapy for the New York Times.

Just searching NYT's site for the article brings up these headlines:
"A very junior Senator delivers a jolt"
"Ted Cruz runs counter to Senate's courtly ways"
"Ted Cruz, the GOP's Nasty Newcomer"

Think they're out to get him?
Breitbart.com has an article talking about how the NYT, WaPo and Politico all have pieces out against him this week.

Sounds like Huey when he first came to the Senate.
Of course if the Senator was a woman or a black liberal, they would be patting him on the back for shaking up things and standing up for social justice.

No one could argue Cruz standing up for israel is some sort of defense of social justice.

It's time to draw a line in the sand, folks. If you criticize a black or latino liberal Democrat, you are automatically accused of being a racist and using "code words." But liberal WHITE douchebags like Matthews, et al, the MSNBC crowd, say the most scurrilous things about Republican black and latino politicians, and not a word is said about it. Therefore, every time the media criticizes a black or latino Republican politician, I am crying "racist!" You should too. And I would LOVE to hear a Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Alan West, Herman Cain tell Chris Matthews, "shut the frick up, dickhead! You ain't black, don't tell ME what 'being black' means."

Ron Paul attacked the status quo on Capitol Hill relentlessly in a civil manner, while Cruz is working to maintain Capitol Hill's status quo in the most uncivil manner.

Why can't we just acknowledge that Cruz acted like a jackass? Why does the board always devolve into "yeah, well the other team did it, too!"? Childish...much like Cruz and the various and sundry other Rs and Ds.

I already answered that question. I didn't watch the hearing. You want me to make a judgment based upon what the NYT says about him?
OK, I'll assume that since the media thinks he's a jackass, I will assume that he's a great guy. Because the media is the biggest collection of jackasses in the country.
