Shved would be a nice get.

If Dell really likes Rondo, I think they could pull off a Rondo/Gordon swap. Gordon makes some sense for Boston.

If that happens, tank would be engaged for a run at McLemore

thoughts on eric maynor? don't know much about him.

apparently OKC is trying to move him.

Do we really need another slow guard? I just feel like he's still coming back from his knee injury and probably couldn't contribute that much, at the moment. But then again, he hasn't been playing so we can't really know.

I like Maynor- at least pre injury- but this doesn't make much sense to me if you want/expect Rivers to be a future pg.

I'm thinking of Rivers as a 2...also not sure about Gordon being here long-term.

Rivers isn't quite ready to play yet...will he be next season? idk...but we could use some more NBA caliber guards bad, at least for the short-term.

...i'm not saying it should be Maynor. I don't know anything about him.

I agree here

But not with this. They arent going to the playoffs. They say they see Rivers like a Tony Parker- let him explore and get used that role over the last 30 games

I'm pretty sure that rivers will make a solid leap next season.

Needs to work on his FTs and finishing

His passing and defense have looked good lately

if they want him to be a solid 15-20mpg player, then I say he will be ready for that. With Vasquez and Gordon, that should be.all they need

They definitely need another guard, preferably a 2 who has some handle. Asking Rivers to fill a Gordon injury void is a recipe for disaster

What about Iman Shumpert? Knicks are reportedly shopping him. They really don't have much else to match contracts with Gordon, though.

I'm assuming the Bucks responded by sending a fax to the Orlando front office stating simply "lol."

yeah I dont see anything that would work with Gordon involved... Maybe if they are looking for big help we could entertain a Lopez/Shump swap

Even then, I dont know where he would fit here... Can he play SF? They list him at 6'5" which is a little small for an NBA SF... Hes a hell of a defender though.

That is the Knicks' problem with most trade rumors out there.

They are linked to a Shumpert-Reddick deal, for example, but they need to ship out an additional $4m in salary to make things work.

I don't see them pulling it off without finding a sucker to take Steve Novak or sending a ton of their cheap bench guys off in the process.
