An NBA high caliber athlete sooner or later will get busted if Bill Simmons is right.

Do steroids give you the ability to shoot 40% from behind the arc?

Kobe took Steroids. He flew to Germany and they shot it directly into his knee

I'd think he must have started young, because ESPN was televising his game when he was 16 and he was yoked.

Wouldn't be shocked, deep down I think a lot of people think he has been on them for a while.

I hate Bron Bron, but I probably wouldn't give a shite other than I bought the BS that his yoga and tough workout routines allowed him to play all these minutes.

Makes sense. We all expect to see dramatic improvements in size, speed and athletic ability every 10-15 years with the new generation...nature doesn't work like that. If he's a freak and an anomoly than he is...but if we heard he was on PED...who would really be shocked? People aren't supposed to be as big/strong/fast as most NFL-Olympic players we love to watch. Why should the NBA be any different? Hell, tennis and Nadal have probably been on the juice the way everyone hits the crap out of everything and never tires.

Yes, but it won't be Lebron James. He's just built like that. I don't even think he lifts.

I get a kick out of people who talk about people who use steroids or PED's like they are going to bulk up. Newsflash: Not everyone on PED's looks like Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa or a Professional Bodybuilder.

Tons of professional cyclists look like emaciated emphysematics with COPD because their upper body's have absolutely no real requirements in cycling in comparison to their legs.

Steroids help your body recover from injury & repetitive exercise much, much more quickly than normal. Their application is not soley for increases in muscle growth.

And I think lots and lots of guys are on PEDS. Here is what I am getting at. The usual argument goes like this:

Guy 1: [Athlete X] is definitely juicing because nobody else has that size/stamina/strength.

Guy 2: No no no. [Athlete X] is just a freak of nature.

I think Guy 2 is usually wrong. But I think that if any athlete in the world qualifies as a freak of nature, it is Lebron James.

Lebron probably does HGH.

I don't blame him or any athlete for doing it either.

HGH is definitely the PED that is most conducive to professional basketball.

Roids for baseball.

Roids and HGH for football.

Roids for sprinting.

EPO and HGH for tennis and cycling.

Interestingly, roids would help golfers as well, so long as they stay flexible. Put a gun to my head, and I'll say Tiger Woods was juicing.

There are different types of performance enhancing drugs, like the poster above outlined.
